To mark our 135th anniversary, we designed this unique malleable cast iron clamp in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. The top and bottom jaws are specially designed and also feature the classic wooden handle with our anniversary print. Each clamp represents the BESSEY quality that has been valued for decades. It combines components from Germany and Spain to create a real collector's item!
The Clamp
We proudly present our 135-anniversary limited edition clamp - a masterpiece that marries classic craftsmanship with modern innovation. This clamp combines traditional malleable cast iron with contemporary design enhancements. We have created a tool designed to impress with its slim design, finely constructed support lines and carefully crafted castings. Not only is it a reliable tool with maximum functionality, but it also serves as a collector's item with its impressive aesthetics. True to the motto 'Form follows Function'.
In addition, we have placed great emphasis on sustainability when developing this clamp: the materials used are almost 100% recyclable and finished with an FSC-certified wood handle, elegantly stamped with BESSEY’s logo.
Top Jaw
The top jaw of our anniversary clamp is characterized by cross braces that provide additional stability and underline the elegant, slim design. It features the exclusive 135-year logo, artfully integrated into the cast.

Bottom Jaw

Interchangeable Pressure Plates
The pressure plates can be changed without tools to bring even more convenience to everyday work. This makes replacing them quick and easy.

Protective Caps
The protective caps are made of special plastic. They ensure that the surface of the workpiece remains free of pressure points and scratches while the clamp does its job reliably.

Smooth-running Spindle
The spindle is has a special trapezoidal thread manufactured in-house at BESSEY - turned, rolling and then carefully tested. The spindle is then surface-coated, making the spindle run smoothly and preventing it from deflecting.

High-quality Profiled Rail
The profiled rail is from BESSEY's own drawing shop and is specifically designed for clamps. The 6-sided rail serrations are designed to prevent the clamp from slipping to ensure maximum safety. This clamp features a set screw integrated into the sliding arm that engages in the rail grooves, effectively preventing the clamp from loosening or slipping.

Rivet
The rivet ensures a secure and durable connection between the wooden handle and spindle, ensuring reliable and long-lasting use.

Wooden Handle
The wooden handle is printed with our unqiue 135-year design and is made from FSC-certified wood. Its shape is designed to contain a thumb recess for comfortable working. Its water-based finish is child-safe and environmentally friendly in accordance with DIN EN 73.

The Creation
The idea
BESSEY wanted to celebrate the company's 135th anniversary and offer fans around the world something very special. After some brainstorming, it was clear; take our classic malleable cast iron screw clamp, also known as the F-clamp, and give it an exclusive upgrade.
The First Sketches
The sketches of the top parts of our anniversary clamp show our dedication to detail. The slim design and the fine reinforcements have been perfected. Each line is carefully thought out to maximize aesthetics and functionality. These sketches were the first step towards a tool that combines tradition and modernity.
The Development
The implementation and construction were carried out with the highest precision. From the first draft to final production, our experienced developers carefully oversaw every step.
The Prototype
The prototype was created using the latest 3D printing technology. This step made it possible to test the slim design and fine bracing. Using 3D printing also allowed us to test the fit and functionality of each component of the clamp. This innovative approach accelerated development, ensured quality, and helped find the perfect balance between aesthetics and function.
The Production
Finally, all components are assembled in production using the most modern techniques. What sets BESSEY apart; every malleable iron screw clamp that leaves our assembly machines is thoroughly checked for quality control before packaging. BESSEY stands for the highest tool quality and longevity.
